Japanese Maple Adds Colour
The Japanese maple adds the perfect bit of colour to any garden The Japanese is native to north east China, Korea and Japan. The maple or acer palmatum has been cultivated since early in the 17 century. In Japan the are called Momiji, which means change colour. In their natural habitat they grow under larger trees in shaded areas, so do prefer to grow in partial shade.
