Period Cottage Interiors is a family run business dedicated to providing the best possible service with friendliness and courtesy. Our items are either personally chosen by us or sourced from a selected number of companies we know and trust. 


After many years of being "townies", we have fulfilled a lifelong dream and have escaped to the country (yippee) and are loving every moment of our new life which includes launching running our fabulous on-line interiors shop. We have working hard finding a unique range of items for you to enhance your home with, whether it be, a country cottage or something more contemporary, hopefully you will find something you like.

The idea of opening an online shop has been borne from the many lovely enquiries we have had over the years from guests who have stayed at our holiday accommodation, Innkeepers Cottage, and wanted to know where they could buy similar items from.


We have a passion for antiques, homes and interiors, with a good eye for detail and have spent the past 12 years renovating and restoring period properties in our spare time, learning much and collecting many treasures along the way. We are now at this exciting stage of our journey and look forward to sharing some of it with you, why not keep up to date with what is happening with us here in the beautiful Durham Dales by following "a rural life" and we hope you enjoy browsing our website.


The Heritage range incorporates a wide selection of quality furniture and accessories, whilst our Vintage range is a lovely mix of the unusual, some practical, some collectable and some very much "one of a kind" pieces.

Under our Orchard range we offer a quality selection of goods which have been individually hand made here in County Durham by expert local craftsmen, speaking of which, if there are any local experienced craftspeople who could offer a top quality service to us, we would love to hear from you.
